Chance to Shine supported by Brit Insurance has teamed up with MCC to deliver MCC Spirit of Cricket Summer Camps at selected venues throughout England & Wales. There will be:
Eight girls only two day camps - open to girls aged 8 to 14 years and of all levels of ability. A great opportunity for any girls who have never played cricket before.
Camp venues
- Ebbw Vale CC 25th & 26th July
- Netherfield CC (Cumbria) 28th & 29th July
- Bridgnorth CC (Shropshire) 4th & 5th August
- Chippenham CC (Wilts) 8th & 9th August
- Old Northamptonians CC (Northants) 10th & 11th August
- Loughton CC (Essex) 15th & 16th August
- Exeter CC (Devon) 22nd & 23rd August
- Burscough CC (Lancs) 25th & 26th August
Each camp will provide every child with the opportunity to:
- Take part in fun and enjoyable activities!
- Win exciting prizes!
- Take part in a kwik cricket tournament!
- Meet a professional cricketer!
Every child will receive a bag of cricket goodies.
All coaches hold an England & Wales Cricket Board qualification and an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check. There will be a qualified First Aider on site at all times and the camp leader will hold contact details in the event of an emergency.
There will be three England Women players coaching on each day of the camp.

Total cost of the camps £15 (for two days)
What to bring
- A packed lunch and plenty to drink throughout the day
- Sports kit
- Appropriate footwear (trainers etc.)
- Sun hat and suncream may be required depending on weather conditions
